Round 2 - Slocan Lake Backpack trial

Heading to the Kootenays this weekend.  YES!  Alaina and I were hoping to get our backpacking skills honed and, because it is still the shoulder season, we had to find a good low elevation backpack trip.  To Slocan Lake and Valhalla park for a rainy weekend (hopefully).  We actually WANT the weekend to be rainy.  We feel we need to learn where our shortcomings are when it comes to backpacking in the rain.

Here's to another nice weekend!!!!  So excited!

    No not going that far. Just a weekend... Less than 40 hours actually. Though fairly soon we hope to get that far into the koots... ;)
