Rockies Trip

So we got back from our Rockies trip yesterday evening.  I'm soooo stoked to start the hiking season.  But we got pretty worked over.  By the end it felt like only my bone structure was keeping me on my feet.  Alaina was worked too.  This is a good opener and we will see how we will progress through the summer. at this point a 7-hour hike is almost too much.

Aside from the physical rigors the hike was awesome.  The kind of scenery you get at the lookout was well worth the effort.  We even got to see many mountain goats literally feet away from us on the trail.  (Didn't get photos, though).


A successful trip in general.
