Private NGOs using business as a means to an end

I would love to work here!!  Nature Conservancy

Business principles applied to purpose.   Self sustaining private business that does nothing but buy ecologically sensitive land strictly to protect it.

    I think so too! I looked at the financial statements of TNC last night for fun. Pretty amazing the amount of money they actually spend on land preservation. $ Billions. They also invest in Government bonds (which because I am a geeky Business Student, is interesting to me).

    But the conservation efforts are astounding. Would be cool to work for them for sure!!
