Preparations for the Toronto competition...

Interesting times.  I am in this strange situation where I drive to Kelowna every 2 days and sometimes everyday to practice with 5 other people who I just met 2 weeks ago.   I already am getting to know them quite well and enjoy hanging out with them.   My official position on this team is tech support and I have been able to bring to the table a lot of knowledge and expertise.
At first I felt out of my league.  But as I move through life I realize that I have the potential to do HUGE things in this world...  The challenge is finding the right forum.  Once you find that forum the world opens up wide and allows you to flourish.

I have an interesting concept I'd like to share with you and it has to do with your life career.  This concept is best illustrated by 3 circles all interlacing and where all three meet up is where your career should sit.  Each circle has a different label: Passion, Skills, and Market.

Passion and skills are self describing but market is best illustrated by what you can be paid for.

We all have value.  We must find where that value is recognized and spend our time there.  Happy sailings!
